As a mentor in my online network marketing community, I help others learn to do their tasks more efficiently and effectively. What you may ask is the difference between mentoring and coaching? Mentoring is “relational,” while coaching is “functional,” so I guess I do both. Developing that relationship allows the mentor to encourage and uplift the mentee as well as coaching which would be giving specific directions to the member needing to complete a specific task. Good mentoring requires permission on the part of both people.
